The X40 Ultra also offers automatic self-cleaning of its base station and dust collection filter. The mop pads are automatically drained and cleaned in hot water. After every cleaning session, the dirty water tank will be automatically emptied. It has some advanced options to customize the cleaning schedule, such as choosing a specific time to start and end every cycle, or choosing whether it should clean carpets prior to mopping. It can be programmed to re-clean dirty areas and to increase its suction around pet litter and food bowls. The X40 Ultra can be programmed to perform specific tasks on demand like cleaning the bathroom sink or kitchen sink. It can be programmed to automatically raise the front side brush whenever it detects wet areas and to clean up debris from corners and baseboards. The X40 Ultra has a simple, intuitive app with various features. It is easy to use and set up. It is quieter than other corded vacuums. The only sound is the occasional low hum of its motor, and brief moments of sucking during cleaning. It had a difficult time when it encountered longer-pile carpets, and there were a few large, thick mess of dried-on debris. Like all robots that are available, the S1 Pro comes ready to come out of the box, and requires only an initial mapping session to learn its way around your home. Once it's done the map is displayed in the app and rooms can be added or combined depending on the need. You can set virtual boundaries, as well as no-go or no-mop zones if there's something you don't want your robot to be able to touch.
